Coming soon but not as soon as we'd like.

I'll be blunt. We need money if we're going to get this pressed.

For those of you not cool enough to be "in-the-know", A Doorbell of Earbows for Brefix is the next Hoor-paar-Kraat LP. This album collects two tracks previously released as The Huntington Chapters, a 3" CDr released by Small-Doses as the A side. The B side will contain two more tracks, only one of which saw a very limited release as a part of the Killing is My Business... subscription series also released by Small-Doses. The fourth track is, as of yet, unreleased.  The plan is to make 500 copies of this LP on good ol' fashioned black wax. Featured on this LP are the works of Duane Hosein, Richard Vergez, Brandon Samdahl and Anthony Mangicapra. The whole thing has been mastered for vinyl by the very capable hands of James Plotkin (O.L.D., Khanate, Khylst, Phantomsmasher, etc...) and, if I may say so myself, it sounds fantastic.

To help us in funding this release, we ask that you take a look at our make-shift web-store, currently located at the Goat Eater Arts MySpace page. At this time we've got CD & LP releases by Fecalove, TenHornedBeast, Drowning the Virgin Silence, Skip James, Steve Moore (Zombi, Aethanor), South Saturn Delta (Masonna, Space Machine, Acid Mothers Temple) and more to come.

Here's that link again CLICK HERE!

You can still buy our releases from the likes of Small-Doses, aQuariusrecOrds, All That's Heavy, Robotic Empire, Cold-Spring, RRRecords, Hanson Records, Hlava-Temple, etc... and we'd appreciate if you'd check them out as they're all fine folks working to keep new music interesting and alive but for right now we need to get this record pressed and would appreciate your patronage.

In other Goat Eater related news, the latest Hoor-paar-Kraat release A Whisper in the Sow's Ear (Eureka Tapes Volume I) is out on Small-Doses. As per usual, Joe of Small-Doses has done an outstanding job and the finished product looks and sounds more beautiful than I'd expected.

Two new Goat Eater releases are available. Hoor-paar-Kraat - Middle Pillar (of Mercy and Severity) was released in conjunction with the exhibit of the works of Richard Vergez, Duane Hosein, Jaimi, Bernard, Andrew MacRae and Anthony Mangicapra at the Andrews Art Museum in Andrews, North Carolina. This single 30 minute track of bowed metal, bells and manipulated field recordings served as the backdrop to the June 2008 exhibit, curated by artist and museum director Annette Rawlings.
Fecalove/Hoor-paar-Kraat - Dionysos/Dionysus is the culmination of a year's worth of work. Done in praise of the Vine God's Solemn Sacrament, this CD is as abrasive as it is delicate. Fans of either artist will be surprised and captivated. Two different versions of this release will be made, both in editions of 50. Italian/UK label Turgid Animal and Goat Eater Arts have crafted their own very different packaging for this long overdue release.

Both of these releases will be available within a matter of days.
If you wish to be notified of these and future releases, please email HoorpaarKraat (AT) hotmail (DOT) com to be put on our mailing list.

On the horizon, aside from the aforementioned LP, is Graduating from Clocks to Watches (Eureka Tapes Volume II), to be released as a C60 on the tape label Peasant Magik and a split C10 with Last

I'm sure there's more but that's all for now.
